There was a scene that seemed like a preparatory stage until Olga started to show signs of calm.
—Please also tell us about “Interlude Wedge.” Could you please tell me your impressions of playing Mikazuki once again?
Kasai:Maybe it's not just me, but after everything up to the second season was over, we decided to talk about what happened after the first season, so things like the value of their relationships and how close they got along after the start of the second season were included in the dialogue. I was told that it would feel like it would have been after the TV series ended, and even though I felt that was certainly the case, it was difficult to return to the crescent moon at the time of the “interlude''.

──What was your impression after seeing the work itself?
Kasai:Of course, since it's a Gundam series, there are battle scenes, but after the first season, I felt a strong sense of momentum from everyone in Tekkadan that they will continue to grow even more. This will lead to the second season, so if you haven't seen “Iron-Blooded” yet, I'd be happy if you check out this “interlude” along with the TV series.
──What was your first impression of the new form of Barbatos, Gundam Barbatos Adapt?
Kasai:From episode 25, we could see that they didn't stop moving forward without proper maintenance. It was because they continued to fight in various ways that they couldn't stop, and they continued to take emergency measures on the spot. I also thought that the tattered look of her appearance was typical of Barbatos.
──In the battle scene, I think we saw Crescent Moon Barbatos fighting with a long sword, similar to the battle against Glaze Ein in the first season. Do you have any thoughts on that?
Kasai:During the battle scene with Glaze Ein, there was a line that said, “I finally figured out how to use this guy (*long sword)…'', but I got the impression that Mikazuki himself wasn't that fond of using long swords. However, Barbatos itself is in a state of disrepair and has been overused, so I don't think he can handle a large mace, and I also felt that Mikazuki's teeth were shaking.
──There was a scene where Akihiro and Altland called out to Mikazuki, who seemed to be shaking her teeth, but what was it like talking to Akihiro again?
Kasai:As I said earlier, in this recording, I initially acted as Mikazuki as if I had finished the second season. The interaction with Akihiro was particularly remarkable, and there was a part where I realized that I was also like that when he told me that we were getting along too well. Of course, there were scenes in the first season where he was making fun of people, but when I looked back on it, I realized that the level of humor was a little too strong in the first performance.

──There was also a part about why Olga started wearing a suit in the second season. What did you think about Olga?
Kasai:I felt that Olga was trying her best to do things that she was not used to. I was so absorbed in it that I didn't even notice that my clothes were torn.
Seeing this, the people around me made fun of me a little, but they knew that I was working hard for my Tekkadan comrades. In the second season, he started to show signs of calm, but it was great to see the “wedge between interludes”, the moment when he changes from a child to an adult.
──Please also tell us about “Uru’s Hunt”. When you watched it, did you feel any difference in the atmosphere from the story of Mikazuki and the others?
Kasai:The difference is that the main character, Wistario Afam, is not a child soldier like Mikazuki or human debris like Akihiro and the others, but Venus, where Wistario and his friends live, is also a poor environment, and it is also a story of a man who takes action to change the current situation, so I feel that he is somehow similar to Mikazuki and his friends.
However, the original story is centered around treasure hunting, and there are elements of visiting various places in the world of Iron-Blooded, so I think it was fun to watch.
──Thank you very much. Lastly, please give a message to your fans.
Kasai:We are also happy that we were able to develop it in theaters like this at the milestone of 10 years. For the past 10 years, I've been saying that I wanted to make a movie version, and I was able to make it happen thanks to everyone who continued to follow Iron-Blooded without stopping. I would be happy if you could watch this work in theaters and feel, even just a little bit, that “I'm glad I kept chasing after''.

Synopsis
Gjallarhorn's political interference in Arbrau's Central Council escalates into the use of force using mobile suits.
The ones who brought the incident to a close were boys from Mars called Tekkadan.
Wistario Afam, who was born and raised in the Radonitsa Colony on Venus, heard of Tekkadan's activities.
Venus, which lost the competition with Mars, is a remote planet where even the four major economic regions show no interest.
The residents don't even have IDs, and now it's just being used as a penal colony for criminals.
Wistario, who wishes to change the current situation in his birthplace, appears in front of a girl who claims to be a pilot for the “Uru's Hunt''.
“Congratulations. You have qualified to participate in the 'Uru's Hunt'.”
Invited to meet a girl, Wistario is forced to stand at the entrance to “Uru's Hunt,” a race for a huge prize that can easily buy a colony.
