Aoi Yuki “Roueie is a tsundere with conviction” “The play of subtraction” shown in “Rakoguro Senki 2” | Isekai2nd

“Rakoguro Senki 2: The Future We Want” was released on Friday, November 7th. This is the first new work in five years since the release of the previous work, “Rakoguro Senki: The Future I Choose.''

“Luo Xiaohei Senki” is an anime work produced by Chinese animation directors Mutou (MTJJ) and Kanki Haruka (HMCH) Studio. The current work, “Rakoguro Senki 2: The Future We Want,'' depicts the world two years after the previous work.

Xiaohei was spending peaceful days with his master Mugen. The peace of the fairy world is threatened by an attack that occurs at a certain hall. Separated from Mugen, who is under suspicion, Xiaohei sets off on a new adventure in search of the truth with his sister and disciple, Ruie.

We hope you will enjoy the deep world view, moving story, and action scenes that are delivered on a scale that exceeds that of the previous film. Mugen's (last) disciple, and Xiaohei's sister disciple. We asked Aoi Yuki, who played Louie, about the appeal of the work.

Louie is a lonely stray cat and a tsundere with strong beliefs.

──What did you think when it was decided that you would appear in “Rakoguro Senki 2: The Future We Want”?

Aoi Yuki who plays Louie (hereinafter referred to as Yuki):First of all, when “Rashoguro Senki: The Future I Choose” was released in Japan, overseas anime had evolved so much! That's what everyone was talking about! I was also very impressed! . In fact, I was able to see that the art was created by someone who loves anime and has mastered it, so I was happy that there was a sequel to that work, and I thought it was an honor to be able to be a part of it.

So, I was very happy when I received the offer! I was hoping that I could help out the work even a little bit with the dubbing.

──It's true that “Rakoguro Senki: The Future I Choose'' was shocking, wasn't it?

Yuuki:I have a lot of voice actors, friends who draw pictures, and friends who like anime, and I've heard from them that foreign anime has evolved so much, and I don't know what to say… It's like it's filled with the things we've grown up watching, and it's been recreated using modern technology to make it even better. So I thought, “Everyone will absolutely love this!'' After all, without love, I wouldn't be able to draw like that! That's what I thought, and I was impressed.

As for the story, stories about fairies and humans are familiar to Asians, so I enjoyed watching it. Above all, Xiaohei (CV. Kana Hanazawa) is cute! I'm a fan of Mugen (CV. Mamoru Miyano), but…

──It was so interesting that I even felt jealous because I grew up watching Japanese anime (lol).

Yuuki:I understand! What I just talked about is the impression I put into words when I was doing this interview, but when I saw it, I thought, “It was really interesting! It was great!'' and I felt like I had just watched a really good movie.

──The afterglow I felt after finishing the movie was really pleasant. Now, let's move on to the story of “Rakoguro Senki 2: The Future We Want,” but please tell us your first impressions of Louie, played by Yuki.

Yuuki:My first impression was that while I thought he was a cool and handsome character, he was like a stray cat that I couldn't get along with, but that he also had a softer side to him. He doesn't really show it to me though (lol). However, I don't like tsunderes who are easily fooled, so I felt like she was a tsundere with strong beliefs, and I think that's how she was actually portrayed.

The other one is a woman, but I would call her mannish. I thought it would be great if I could make a character that has a coolness that transcends gender. That's why Xiaohei is cute no matter who sees it! As a character that I think about, Louie seems cool to anyone who sees it. That was the image.

──Since you are Xiaohei's sister disciple, what did you think of the relationship between the two?

Yuuki:Basically, leave it alone. It's like I'm just watching them follow me on their own. It's your responsibility to become stronger, and I believe that what I do is also my responsibility. That style is not only for Xiaohei, but for everyone.

Luie himself is the type of person who takes responsibility for himself, so he treats others in the same way, but through interaction, he gradually understands Xiaohei and becomes a good friend. There is a coldness that pushes me away, but that may be proof that we are treated as equals. Trust in your skills will also increase. And Xiaohei is also becoming more and more cool. I thought the strength of their relationship was that they were disciples who helped each other improve.

Also, from Louie's point of view, it took some time for him to be able to recognize Xiaohei, but it didn't mean he wasn't watching her, but he was paying close attention to her.

──You're really kind, aren't you? The story also revolved around the two of them.

Yuuki:It's a story about Xiaohei growing up, and as he grows, those around him also grow. It's like those around him are becoming adults step by step after seeing his growth and hard work. Although I have lived for a long time, I felt that there was still a path to the future open to me. In the end, I had the impression that Xiaohei, who I thought was very cute, turned out to be extremely cool. Also, Mugen is so strong this time it's interesting! (lol).

──That’s true (lol).

Yuuki:Basically, I like gentle older brother characters. Mugen is very enlightened, and because he has reached the ultimate state of strength, he has the leeway to do so, which makes him really cool, but in the end, Mugen in this work was interesting (lol). It was the best. It's great to be able to do both cool and interesting things! Mugen himself hasn't wavered. I think it's funny how it's too strong.

──What do you think Louie feels about Mugen?

Yuuki:Louie is a child who doesn't speak his mind very often, so this may just be my impression, but isn't Mugen really supposed to be responsible for both Louie and Xiaohei? But I took it upon myself again. So when I saw Xiaohei with me as a disciple, I think I thought, “This person has gotten himself into trouble again.

I don't like that part of him, but I'm learning something from him, so the fact that I can't understand him makes me angry (lol). If you acknowledge his kindness, you will admit that you are appreciating him. There was a part of me that was defending myself, thinking that I couldn't live with that principle, but as Xiaohei grew up and came to accept Xiaohei, I wondered if there was a point where I was able to accept Mugen as well.

──That's what I was talking about earlier, where Luie himself grows as a result of Xiaohei.

Yuuki:I agree. With Xiaohei's appearance, I guess he was able to see the relationship between himself and his master from a bird's-eye view.
