TOHO Animation released a new trailer for the anime Trigun Stargazeconfirming your premiere in January 2026. The trailer was accompanied by a new promotional image, character illustrations, and the introduction of two additional members of the main cast.
New cast members
Chika Ayamori will play Milly Thompsonwhile Ryuuji Sato will take on the role of Millions Knivesreplacing Junya Ikeda in the role. Both characters return in this new installment set 2.5 years after the events of Trigun Stampede.
Production and main staff
The project is led by Masako Sato (Cheer Yell!, Haikyu!! To The Top) in the studio Orange. Takehiko Oxi returns as responsible for the original story, while Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Girls' Last Tour, Do It Yourself!!) supervises the script.
Character designer and concept artist Kouji Tajima come back from Trigun Stampedeand Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Look Back) joins as animation designer. Crunchyroll confirmed that it will broadcast the series globally when it premieres.

Trigun Stargaze is described as the “final phase” of the universe of Trigun Stampede. The original series debuted in January 2023 under the direction of Kenji Mutoustanding out for its use of 3D animation and renewed narrative. This new installment seeks to conclude the story of Vash the Stampede and his brother Knives.
