The anime production team Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai (I'll Never Have a Romantic Comedy with My Childhood Friend) published a new promotional video that introduces the main cast, staff and the closing theme song. The series adapts the manga of Shinya Misu and will be produced by Tezuka Productions.
The video confirms that Takehiro Urao will play the protagonist Yonosuke Sakaiin addition to revealing a preview of the final song titled “Amanojaku” (They contradict), performed by the singer Hikari Codama. The production has the participation of CyberAgent.

The direction is in charge of Satoshi Kuwabaraknown for his work in The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses and The Quintessential Quintuplets. Script supervision falls to Mitsutaka Hirota (Edens Zero, Rent-A-Girlfriend), who collaborates with Mayumi Morita (black jack). For its part, Queen Iwasaki (VTuber Legend) designs the characters.
