Handa Kiyoshu, a calligrapher who was involved in an accident in Tokyo, decides to live alone on an island in order to get away from the noise around him and focus on his calligraphy. However, at that house, he meets Naru, an elementary school student with a lot of energy. Kiyoshu's life has begun where he wants to be alone but won't let him be.
