The official website for the anime adaptation of Romelia War Chronicle: Even After Defeating the Demon King, Humanity Still Seems Doomed, So I Formed a Military Force (Romelia Senki: Maou o Taoshita Ato mo Jinrui Yabasou Dakara Guntai Soshiki Shita) was recently inaugurated, revealing a visual teaser which confirms the television broadcast by 2026.

The story follows Romeliathe daughter of an earl who, after the fall of the Demon King, discovers that humanity is still on the brink of collapse. Determined to prevent another disaster, she forms her own army to protect the future of the world. With a plot that mixes military strategy and political drama, the series is emerging as one of the new tactical fantasy bets of next year.
From web novel to publishing phenomenon
Ariyama originally released the work as a web novel in Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2019, before being physically published by Shogakukan under his seal Gagaga Bunko. The saga currently has more than 500,000 copies in circulation and will conclude with his sixth volume he November 18.
The series also inspired a manga adaptation illustrated by Ryou Kamitopublished on the platform Mag Comi of Mag Garden from 2022. The publisher Seven Seas Entertainment will publish the first volume in English in January 2026.
A highly anticipated premiere
