the manga The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses reached its conclusion in issue 49 of Weekly Shonen Magazinepublished on November 5. The series, written and illustrated by Koji Seoends after four years and nine months of serialization, having started in February 2021. In the same issue it was announced that the author will return with a new romantic comedy set on a remote islandwhose premiere is scheduled for January 14, 2026.
The story follows Hayato Kasukabea young man who, after passing the entrance exam to the University of Tokyo, returns to his family's old coastal home, the Cafe Terrace Familyafter the death of his grandmother. There he discovers five unknown girls living in the place, thus beginning a coexistence full of entanglements and affections. The manga inspired two seasons of anime transmitted in 2023 and 2024establishing itself as one of the author's most popular romantic works.

To commemorate the end of the series, Masaaki Mizunakavoice of Hayato in the animated adaptation, shared a message of gratitude: “Congratulations on completing The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses. Watching Hayato take on the charming heroines was a real pleasure.” The actor highlighted that the recordings were full of laughter and to participate in the project Koji Seo It was “an experience of pride and gratitude.”
