Despite having more than four decades of experiencethe iconic franchise dragon ball of Akira Toriyama had never had a dedicated official store in the world. This will change next November 14, 2025 with the opening of the DRAGON BALL STORE TOKYO on the famous Character Street, within the Tokyo Station. The new establishment will join other franchise themed stores such as One Piece, Kamen Rider and ultraman.
The DRAGON BALL STORE TOKYO will focus on offering exclusive items from the store, as well as merchandise that will recreate the aesthetics of the original animation cells of the series. Among the featured pieces there will be replicas of original keyframes and posters that will use notable visuals from anime history.
The announcement was accompanied by a key image of Goku riding the Flying Cloudwhich contrasts with the statue of Kid Goku riding Shenron which will be permanently displayed inside the store.
Opening and pre-sale dates
The store will open its doors on November 14; However, it was confirmed that the entry will be per ticket only until the November 17 to control the flow of attendees. Additionally, pre-orders for exclusive merchandise will begin on November 1.
This new space not only seeks to capitalize on the lasting success of the series, but also to offer a physical and permanent meeting point for the Z Fighters and the followers of Toriyama's work.
