The connection between Creepy Nuts and the anime Call of the Night has become inseparable, and to celebrate the beginning of the second seasonthe hip hop duo has released a new collaborative music video. The video features its opening theme “Mirage” accompanied by unpublished scenes from the new arc of the series, as well as the lyrics of the song.
A musical preview before the official release of the single
He first video clip for “Mirage” was released on July 15while the physical release of the single is scheduled for September 10. This will also include the closing theme “Nemure” and the instrumental versions of both songs.
In addition, the single will be accompanied by an exclusive illustration of Kotoyamaauthor of the original manga, which shows Nazuna and ko flying through the night sky over the city.
Everything ready for a season that promises emotions
The second season of Call of the Night continues under the direction of Tomoyuki Itamura in the studio LIDEN FILMS. The creative team remains with Michiko Yokote in the scripts, Haruka Sagawa in character design and Yoshiaki Dewa in musical composition. They also add Izumi Takizawa and Nao Miyoshi as co-directors.
The original manga, written by Kotoyama (also author of Dagashi Kashi), was published in the magazine Shōnen Sunday from August 2019 to January 2024. Currently, the series continues through a new set of short stories under the subtitle “Paradise Arc”.
A night story between mystery and romance
