The exiled villain becomes a nun in her new anime


This Monday, the artist Tsumuji Yoshimura confirmed through his social networks that the light novel series Akuyaku Reijō no Tsuihōgo! Kyōkai Kaikaku Gohan from Yũyũ Sister-gurashi will have a anime adaptation. The original work was written by Tail Yuzuharaand Yoshimura himself is in charge of the manga version.

The story follows Elizabetha villain who has been exiled from the nobility. In her previous life she was a successful event organizer, but after being reincarnated in a different world, she decides to retire from social drama and live in peace as nun in a country church. The novel began its online publication on the platform Shōsetsuka ni Naro in September 2018. Shortly after, Kadokawa began its physical edition with illustrations by Yu Shiroya and character designs by Yoshimura. The first volume was released in March 2019 and the second in September of the same year.

As for the manga, Yoshimura published it through Flos Comic from December 2018 until its end in July 2024. Kadokawa launched the eleventh and final compilation volume in August 2024.

Although specific details regarding the production team or release date have yet to be revealed, the announcement has caught the attention of fans of the isekai with strong female protagonists looking for a second chance.
