Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Celebrates 10th Anniversary with New Short


The franchise Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans is celebrating. On the occasion of tenth anniversary from the original anime, it has been confirmed that the long-awaited film Urðr-Huntbased on the popular spin-off of the mobile video game Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Gwill reach the Japanese cinemas on October 31. But that's not all: it will come accompanied by a special short titled Makuai no Kusabi.

The return of the original team

The short has been created as part of the commemoration of the original anime broadcast on October 2015which had two seasons and a total of 50 episodes. Tatsuyuki Nagaidirector of the original series, returns to lead the project, along with the screenwriter Mari Okada and other key members of the production team.

In addition, the return of Kengo Kawanishi as Mikazuki Augus and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Orga Itsukawhich ensures a dose of nostalgia for fans of the franchise.

What is Urðr-Hunt about?

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urðr-Hunt is directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai and written by Hajime Kamoshida. The story is set in a universe after the collapse of the government structure of the Terrestrial Sphere.
