The anime's official website Kingdombased on the manga Yasuhisa Haraconfirmed that the sixth season will be released on October 4 at 5:10 p.m. (Spain) by NHK General. The production also presented a new promotional image and announced five additions to the cast, who will play members of the Qin army:

- Dai Matsumoto like Mako
- Shinnosuke Tachibana like Akakin
- Yoshino Nanjō as Kitari
- Masaaki Mizunaka as Katari

Creative team and musical themes
They return in the direction Kenichi Imaizumiin the script Noboru Takagiand in character design Hisashi Abewith animation by Pierrot and St.Signpost. The music will again be composed by Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto. The opening theme, “Ikite, Sansan.” (Live Brightly), will be interpreted by Ikimono-gakariwhile the closure, “Hōkō” (Roar), will be in charge of Sora Tomonari.

A review of the animated saga
The fifth season aired in January 2024 with a total of 13 episodes, broadcast on Crunchyroll internationally. Since its debut in 2012, the anime has had multiple installments and hiatuses, including a delay during the third season due to the pandemic.
The original manga, published since 2006 in Weekly Young Jumptells the story of Xina young slave who dreams of becoming a great general of the state of Qin and helping the king Ying Zheng in its goal of unifying China.
