The renowned director Keisuke Matsumoto presented this Monday a new animated project titled Inpuru-kun no Sonzai Shinai Shigoto (Inpuru's non-existent works). The anime has already premiered its first episode and confirmed that new chapters will be released on days 1st and 15th of each month. The story is inspired by Inpuru-kunthe friendly mascot of the temporary employment agency Improve.
A series of absurd jobs
The plot follows Inpuru-kun as he accepts all kinds of unusual jobs. In his debut, the character takes on the curious role of zombie keeperstarting a series of adventures full of surreal humor.
More from the cast and production
The main cast is made up of:
- Mai Aizawa like Inpuru-kun and Purubu-chan.
- Keisuke Matsumoto like Kamio-kun and Kokebayashi.
- Nobuyuki Obari (President of Improve) as Ohamu-san.
The direction is carried out by Matsumoto, while the animation has the work of 184, Himari Kaburagi and Ahiru Kotori. The edition is in the hands of Fukutsu Aoki.
Previous director experience
Matsumoto had already worked on similar productions such as Ponkotsu Quest and Seizei Gambare Mahō Shōjo Kurumiwhere he also lent his voice to several characters. With this new project, he once again combines his particular directing style with touches of absurd comedy.
