The producer Pony Canyon revealed the first trailer for the second season of the anime Chained Soldier (Mato Seihei no Slave), adaptation of the manga by Takahiro and Yohei Takemura. The video confirms that the series will return in January 2026 in Japan, in addition to advancing the voice of the character Mira Kamiunten. The rest of the cast will be announced in future updates.

New creative team and animation studio
The second season will feature renewed staff and a change in production. Masafumi Tamura (The World's Finest Assassin, Wise Man's Grandchild) will be the new director at the studios Passion and Hayabusa Film.
