Amid rumors and speculation, the author of Baka to Test came out to calm fans this Thursday by confirming that there are no plans for a third season from the anime. The message comes after there was talk on social networks about a possible return of the franchise.

“There have been a lot of strange movements recently, but don't worry, there is currently no progress towards a third season”wrote the creator, who also took the opportunity to remember that the anime will be back through broadcasts.
