The anime production team Kaya-chan wa Kowakunaibased on the manga Yuritaroannounced that the series will premiere in January 2026 through TV Tokyo and its affiliates, in addition to the channels AT-X and WOWOW. New cast confirmed
Among the additions to the cast are Yūki Kaji like Namu, Fukushi Ochiai like Mobuo, Azusa Tadokoro like Akira-sensei and Shiori Izawa like Chihiro-sensei. The main roles will be played by Azusa Tachibana in the role of Kaya-chan and Maaya Uchida like Chie-sensei.

The project management is in charge of Hiroshi Ikehata (365 Days to the Wedding, Kiratto Pri☆Chan) in East Fish Studio.
