The production team of the anime adaptation of the light novel series Majutsu-shi Kunon wa Mieteiru (Kunon the Sorcerer Can See Through), written by Umikaze Minaminopublished a new teaser that confirms its premiere in January 2026. The video also revealed the production team and more cast members.
The actress Akari Kitou joins the cast playing Mirikathe ninth princess and Kunon's fiancée. It was previously confirmed that Saori Hayami will give voice to the protagonist Kunon Gurionwhile Maaya Uchida will play his maid Iko Round.
Production team
The direction is in charge of Hideaki Oba (Love of Kill, I'm in Love with the Villainess) under the study Platinum Vision. Yuki Enatsu (Unlimited Fafnir) will be in charge of both the script and supervision of the composition of the series.
The character design is carried out by Yoko Sato (Love of Kill) and Toshimitsu Kobayashi (Spice and Wolf II), while Shunsuke Takizawa (TRYTONELABO) composes the soundtrack.
Premiere details
The series will air on Tokyo MX, BS Asahi and WOWOW from January 2026. More information about its international distribution will be announced soon.
