The 46th digital edition of the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump of Shueisha announced that the manga Super Psychic Policeman Chojowritten and illustrated by Shun Numawill have an anime adaptation that will premiere in 2026. The announcement came accompanied by a first visual teaser and confirmation of the main production team.
The project will be led by Junichi Yamamoto (Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion) under studio production Arvo Animation. Hayashi Mori (Sand Land: The Series, Cells at Work! Code Black) will be in charge of supervising and writing the scripts, while Masakatsu Sasaki (TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You, 16bit Sensation) will design the characters.
About the original work
the manga Super Psychic Policeman Chojo was initially published as a oneshot in April 2023 within Weekly Shonen Jumpbefore beginning regular serialization in February 2024. The story concluded on June 9, 2025, and Shueisha released its seventh and final compilation volume on September 4.
