The publisher Kadokawa announced that the light novel series Yowaki MAX Reijou nanoni, Ratsuwan Konyakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta (Even Though She's a Timid Young Lady to the Max, She Agreed to Her Shrewd Fiancé's Bet), written by Hiro Odawill have a anime adaptation for television. The announcement was accompanied by a visual teaser and a promotional video.
The voice actress Miku Ito will play the protagonist again Pia Rockwellwhile Ryota Osaka will resume his role as Rufus Stan. Both had already given voice to these characters in the drama CD of the novels and in the voice comic from the manga.
The artists Tsubasa.voriginal illustrator of the novels, and Aji Murataresponsible for the manga version, shared commemorative illustrations for the anime announcement.
A romantic comedy with an isekai twist
The story follows Piaa college student who reincarnates as a ten-year-old girl inside a otome game. In this new life, she discovers that she is destined to become a secondary villain whose story ends with her broken engagement and exile. Determined to avoid that fate, she asks her fiancé Rufus Stanson of the prime minister, to break the engagement immediately. However, her unexpected sincerity piques the interest of Rufus, who proposes a bet: to see if she will really call off the engagement in seven years.

Hiro Oda began posting the story on the site Shōsetsuka ni Naro in January 2020. Kadokawa released the print version in August of the same year with illustrations by Tsubasa.v. To date, the series has seven volumes, the most recent published in April 2024, and more than 1.2 million copies in circulation.
The manga adaptation, drawn by Aji Muratastarted in 2021 on the portal Comic Walker inside the seal Flos Comic by Kadokawa. The fourth compilation volume was published in January 2024.
At the moment, the anime's release date and details about its animation studio have not been confirmed, but Kadokawa announced that more information will be revealed in the coming months.
