Claymore disappears from the Crunchyroll catalog without official explanation

the anime Claymore has been removed from the catalog Crunchyroll without prior notice or official communication from the company. With this removal, the series currently does not have a legal global distribution platform.

Users reported the disappearance of the title throughout the week, and so far Crunchyroll has not offered an explanation about the reasons behind the measure. The withdrawal has generated confusion among viewers, who point out the lack of transparency regarding the handling of classic anime licenses.

According to community reports, the anime could remain temporarily available on Amazon Prime Video and on some partner sites that require access through a Crunchyroll account. Likewise, in specific regions such as Hong Kong and India the series could still be found on Netflixalthough not globally.

Based on the manga written and illustrated by Norihiro Yagi, Claymore was produced by madhouse and originally broadcast in 2007, standing out for its dark tone and medieval fantasy setting.

Do you think Crunchyroll Should you offer greater transparency about the expiration of licenses in your catalog?
