The official website for the anime adaptation of Mayonaka Heart Tune (Tune In to the Midnight Heart)manga written and illustrated by Masakuni Igarashirevealed a new promotional video, information about the musical themes and its release date, scheduled for January 6, 2026.
The video features the main themes of the anime: the opening theme “Tsuki ni Mukatte Ute” performed by Suisei Hoshimachiand the closing theme “Koe no Kiseki” performed by Soala.
The main cast includes:
- Momoko Seto like Rikka Inohana.
- Rumi Okubo like Nene Himekawa.
- Sayumi Suzushiro like Iko Kirino.
- Miku Itou like Shinobu Uzuki.
- Rikuya Yasuda like Arisu Yamabuki.
- Kana Hanazawa like Lemon Ando.
The direction is in charge of Masayuki Takahashi (Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned into a Pig) in the studio Gekkowhile Yukie Sugawara (Overlord) supervises the scripts. The character design is carried out by Tomoyuki Shitaya (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Bakuman.).
A new visual for the project was also shown.
The original manga began serialization in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from Kodansha in September 2023, and currently has ten published volumes.
