Crunchyroll will launch its own app to read manga


Crunchyroll has confirmed the release of Crunchyroll Mangaan application dedicated exclusively to digital manga reading. The service will debut on October 9, 2025 in USA and Canadaalthough for now availability in other regions has not been mentioned.

The application will work independently of the standard Crunchyroll platform and is also distinguished by not including advertisements of any kind. This separation appears to be related to the closure of the company's previous manga service, which was permanently withdrawn in recent months.

A catalog with great publishers and popular titles

One of the most striking points is that Crunchyroll Manga will have licenses Shueisha, Viz Media, square enix, Yen Press and other renowned publishers. Among the confirmed titles are:

The cost of Crunchyroll Manga It will depend on the Crunchyroll subscription level that each user has:
