HoYoverse announced all the details of the Genshin Impact version 6.1 during its official broadcast. The new update of the popular RPG will be released on October 22, 2025 and will include a new character, banners, missions, events and codes with free rewards.
Release date and maintenance
Version 6.1 will be available after scheduled maintenance for the October 21. HoYoverse is maintaining its usual schedule of six weeks between updates, so no delays are expected. Players are encouraged to claim all version 6.0 rewards before the deadline.
Version 6.1 codes
During the broadcast, three promotional codes that grant a total of 300 Primogems and other materials. They will be available until October 13 at 00:00 ET.

New character and banners
The update will introduce Nefera user Dendro five-star specialized in Lunar-Bloom. His combat style is based on transforming and absorbing Dendro cores to enhance his Elemental Mastery and deal damage with his ultimate ability. Nefer will use the catalyst Reliquary of Truthwhich increases its CRIT DMG and Elemental Mastery.
The Phase 1 of the banners will feature the debut of Nefer along with a rerun of Furina. In the Phase 2 will appear Arlecchino and Zhongli. Its synergy with Furina will favor teams based on Dendro-Hydro reactions.
New missions and events
The main arch of Nod-Krai will continue with new missions that will have Laughone of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah, as the antagonist. The players will have the support of Varka, Arlecchino, Sandrone and Damselette to confront the forces of the Abyss.
There will also be introduced a new world boss that will leave ascension materials for Nefer, in addition to temporary events with Primogems, Mora and Upgrade Materials. As part of the special rewards, a Free college.
New mode: Miliastra Wonderland
Version 6.1 will add the mode Miliastra Wonderlanda sandbox environment created by Octavia of the Hexenzirkel. Players will be able to create a Manekin personalized, make objects using plans and share your creations with other users. This mode can be started from the Paimon menu or through the function Quick Start.
With the arrival of version 6.1, Genshin Impact expands the story of Teyvat and delves deeper into the mysteries of Khaenri'ah, offering new activities and challenges for all players.
