The renowned event Animelo Summer Livealso known as Anisamaannounced a historic change for its edition of 2026. For the first time since 2008, the festival will no longer be held at the Saitama Super Arenamoving to Makuhari Messelocated in Chiba Prefecture, just outside of Tokyo.
Advance event on the calendar
In addition to the change of venue, the festival also will advance its dategoing from the end of August to July 2026. Something similar has not happened since 2007. The decision responds to the renovations of the Super Arena after its 25th anniversary, but also to the record high temperatures that hit the Kanto region in August, with more than 10 days above 35 degrees during 2025.
