Among the factors that drove this increase are the increase in travelers from North Americawho seek to avoid the busiest seasons such as school holidays or the autumn period, as well as the growing number of tourists from the Middle Eastmotivated by the activities of the National Day held during the Osaka–Kansai Expo.

The rebound consolidates the full recovery of international tourism in Japan after the pandemic, positioning the country once again as one of the most visited destinations in the world.

Can Japan maintain this pace and reach the historic mark of 40 million visitors for the first time? Were you part of that figure?
