The new arc will adapt the Savanaclaw-centric portion of the original manga.
The production of Twisted-Wonderland The Animation confirmed that the series will have a second season under the title Episode of Savanaclaw. The announcement came through a special video published on the official channel of Disney+where it was announced that the adaptation will continue to expand the world of the popular smartphone game.
The first season, made up of eight episodes, debuted exclusively on the platform on October 29. The project is planned to cover three main arcs, following the manga that accompanies the game, with the parts Episode of Heartslabyul, Episode of Savanaclaw and Episode of Octavinelle. The English dub also arrived on Disney+ and Hulu from the day of release.
Cast and production returning to the magical Night Raven College
The protagonist, Yuuken Enmaperformed by Youhei Azakamicontinues at the forefront of the story as in the manga adaptation. Yuuken is a high school student and member of the kendou club who, after the appearance of a mysterious float on a full moon night, is transported to the alternate world known as Twisted-Wonderland.
The cast seen in the arch Heartslabyul come back with Natsuki Hanae as Riddle Rosehearts, Seiichirou Yamashita as Ace Trappola, Chiaki Kobayashi as Deuce Spade, Ryouta Suzuki as Trey Cloverand Tatsuyuki Kobayashi as Cater Diamond. They also return Noriaki Sugiyama as Grim and Mitsuru Miyamoto as Say Crowley.
In the direction, Takahiro Natori serves as chief director and script supervisor, while Shin Katagai directs the series in Yumeta Company and Graphinica. The main script is by Yoichi Katoand the character designs are at the hands of Hanaka Nakano and Akane Satou. The music is again composed by Takumi Ozawawho also worked on the game, and the opening theme “Piece of my world” is interpreted by Night Ravens.
With a new season already underway, the animated adaptation continues to expand the Twisted-Wonderland universe and bring its narrative closer to a global audience.
