The official site of the anime adaptation of the manga Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou (Daily Lives of Torture Part-Time Job), work of Yawora Tsugumirevealed new details about its production, cast, musical themes and promotional visual. The series is scheduled to premiere on January 7, 2026 in Tokyo MXfollowed by BS Asahi, Ehime Broadcasting and Yomiuri TV.
The anime will be directed by Fumitoshi Oizaki (Gorilla no Kami kara Kago sareta Reijou wa Ouritsu Kishidan by Kawaigarareru), while Hitomi Amamiya (Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai) will be in charge of the composition of the series. Sakae Shibuya (Deaimon) will carry out the character design, with animation by the studio Diomedea.


Cast and musical themes confirmed
The main cast includes Kishou Taniyama (Bungou Stray Dogs) as Hera already Rikuya Yasuda (Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga…) as Noah. In addition, the series will have an outstanding musical production: the duo GRANRODEO (Baki) will perform the opening theme “GO GO PARADISE!!”while the voice actor Takuma Terashima (Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra) will sing the ending “Ashita Tenki ni Naare”.
The first promotional video includes a preview of the opening and shows new scenes of the characters in comic situations within the “torture department”, where absurd humor is the key.
A look at the production and origin of the manga
The technical team includes Saori Tatematsu in color design, Seo-gu Lee (Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte) as artistic director and Yuuki Shiina (Suisei no Freyline: Prologue) in the direction of photography. The edition will be in charge of Toshihiko Kojima (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.), and sound production will be handled by Bit grooove promotion with Yayoi Tateishi as audio director.
The original manga Yawora Tsugumi It began publication in December 2022 in Manga Park and Young Animal Web. Hakusensha published the sixth compiled volume on June 27reaching a total of 350,000 copies in circulation.
