The trailer revealed that the closing theme will be titled “Serenade” and will be performed by the singer Natorirecognized fan of the original manga.
In a message included during the event, Natori commented that he composed the song inspired by the character of Aqua: “The more I tried to understand him, the more I felt like I was sinking into an inescapable darkness. I created this song wishing that, at least while it plays, he can rest in peace.”
Return of the team and new production changes
