SHAFT celebrates 50th anniversary with major exhibition in Tokyo


The renowned animation studio SHAFT will celebrate his 50th anniversary with a commemorative exhibition titled SHAFT 50th Anniversary Exhibitionwhich will take place in Mixalive TOKYOin Ikebukuro, from December 27, 2025 to the January 18, 2026. The event will bring together production materials, storyboards and visuals of some of the studio's most representative works.

Along with the announcement, a new promotional video, the third main visual and the third round of titles that will be part of the sample were revealed. Additionally, a one-day special event titled SHAFT 50th Anniversary Exhibition × Mixa Animation Diary: Bakemonogatarischeduled for January 10whose advance tickets are now available.

Event details

During the exhibition, visitors will be able to see original production materials and unpublished visual pieces. The sale of exclusive commemorative merchandise and thematic activities dedicated to franchises such as Monogatari Series and Puella Magi Madoka Magicatwo of the biggest hits in the studio's history.
