Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc debuts with perfect rating on Rotten Tomatoes


Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc has had an outstanding debut in the West after its first exclusive screenings for subscribers of Crunchyroll. The film, which adapts the Bomb Devil Arc from the original manga, continues the story of Denji and presented his first official score on the site Rotten Tomatoes.

According to the first records, the film obtained a 100% approval by critics based on 14 reviewsin addition to a 99% audience rating. The first reviews highlight the combination of intense action, high-level animation and an emotional narrative that maintains the characteristic style of the work of Tatsuki Fujimoto.

A debut that exceeds expectations

The result positions Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc above its closest competitor, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castlewhich debuted with a score of 95% and later went up to 98% after more than 50 published reviews. A change of direction at MAPPA

The feature film was produced by the studio MAPPA with Tatsuya Yoshihara at the head of the management, replacing Ryu Nakayamawho directed the first season of the anime.
