The film production team Zombieland Saga: Yumeginga Paradise released a new promotional video titled “climax PV,” which features an unreleased song from the idol group Franchouchou titled “Yūkyū Never Die” (“Eternal Never Die”).
The trailer also confirmed the participation of the voice actor Daisuke Onowho will play Naomasa Amabukian employee of the Saga Prefectural Science and Space Museum, as well as the father of Maria Amabuki and husband of Reikobest friend of Saki Nikaido.
The film will be released in theaters in Japan on October 24 and will feature the return of the main cast of the original series. Takafumi Ishida and Takeru Satowho directed episodes of the anime, are in charge of direction under the studio's production MAPPA.
The script was written by Shigeru Murakoshi (The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse), while Fumihide Sai, Jinshichi Yamaguchi and Kasumi Fukagawa (character designer of the original anime) are listed as animation directors and responsible for character design. The music is again provided by Yasuharu Takanashiand Yuriko Waki repeats as animation producer.
Zombie Land Saga It is a joint production of MAPPA, Avex Pictures and Cygames. The first season aired on 2018followed by Zombie Land Saga Revenge in 2021both available in Crunchyroll with dubbing and subtitles in different languages.
The franchise also inspired the spin-off manga Zombie Land Saga Gaiden: The First Zombieillustrated by Kasumi Fukagawa and published in the magazine Ultra Jump from Shueisha between 2021 and 2022.
