During the ceremony of Harvey Awards 2025held within the framework of the New York Comic Conthe manga Tongari Boushi no Atelier (Witch Hat Atelier) of Kamome Shirahama was recognized again as Best Manga of the year. This is the second time that the work has won the award, after its first victory in 2020.
The category of Best Manga brought together notable titles such as The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All of Sumiko Arai, The Summer Hikaru Died of Mokumokuren, Tokyo These Days of Taiyo Matsumoto and Wind Breaker of Satoru Nii. Finally, the jury awarded the prize to Shirahama's work.

A recognition of sequential art
The Harvey Awards They are one of the most important awards in the comics and sequential art industry. The category dedicated to manga was incorporated in 2018, when My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness of Kabi Nagata obtained the first recognition. Since then, works such as My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man and Delicious in Dungeon have been awarded in previous editions.
Results from other categories
In the category of Digital Book of the Year series of WEBTOON Originals as The Mafia Nanny, Morgana and Oz and Castle Swimmeralong with Resenter of Gigi Murakami. However, the award went to Sarah's Scribbles of Sarah Anderson.
With this new recognition, Witch Hat Atelier reaffirms its position as one of the most influential works of the last decade on the international manga scene.
