The anime's official website Gachiakuta revealed this Tuesday a new promotional video, four additional members of the cast and the musical themes that will accompany the second course of the series. This second half will begin October 12 at 11:30 p.m. (JST) on the television block Agaru Anime from CBC and TBS, followed by AT-X and BS Nippon TV.
New cast confirmed
The new characters and their respective voice actors are:
- Twine – performed by Maria Naganawa (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon)
- Noerde – performed by Mutsumi Tamura (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Stone Ocean)
- fu – performed by Hiro Shimono (Boku no Hero Academia)
- Bundus – performed by Akio Ootsuka (Vinland Saga)
New musical themes
The VTuber of hololive, Mori Calliope (Isekai Suicide Squad), will perform the opening theme titled “LET'S JUST CRASH”while the rock band Karanoah will be in charge of the closing theme “Ban”. Both songs are heard in the promotional video published alongside the announcement.
Production and background
The anime is directed by Fumihiko Suganuma (Sirius) in Bones Film. The series is composed by Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man), character design by Satoshi Ishino (AICO Incarnation) and music by Taku Iwasaki (Bungou Stray Dogs).
The series adapts the action-fantasy manga Gachiakutawritten by Kei Urana and illustrated by Hideyoshi Andou. The work began its serialization in the magazine Weekly Shounen Magazine in February 2022. Kodansha published volume 16 on September 17 and will release volume 17 on November 17.
