It was announced that the manga Apprentice Nail Artist in a Foreign Landwritten by Marukawawill be adapted to anime. A commemorative visual was presented alongside the announcement, although details about the studio, production team, voice cast, or release date have not yet been revealed.

The work began to be serialized on the site Pash Up! of Shufu to Seikatsu Sha in March 2022. It currently has five compilation volumes published, while the sixth volume is scheduled for release on October 3, 2025
The plot follows Keiko Saharaan office worker whose hobby is designing gel nails. One day she is transported to a world where magic comes from this art. There, a magical artist discovers her talent and makes her his apprentice.
