The producer Pony Canyon announced the original anime Tetsuryo! Meet with Tetsudou Musumebased on the characters of the franchise Tetsudou Musume. The project will have a television series that will premiere in 2026and has already presented a promotional teaser along with a key visual.
Production team
The original work is by Tomytecwhile the direction is in charge of Misuzu Hoshino. Creative cooperation runs on the part of Kisetsu Moritaauthor of Slime Taoshite 300-nen. The script and composition of the series are in the hands of Aya Satsukiand the character design falls to Hisanori Hashimoto. The animation will be produced by East Fish Studio.
The Tetsudou Musume Franchise
The project Tetsudou Musume started in 2005 under the brand Tomytec. The franchise is known for its themed characters related to Japanese railway company workers, as well as merchandise and collectible figures. In 2008 the live-action series premiered Tetsudou Musume: Girls Be Ambitious!.
The story follows Misakia college student facing the pressure of daily life and her doubts about the future. Everything changes when she is invited to join the Tetsuyo Cluba group dedicated to railroads. There, Misaki finds new motivations and discovers the excitement of a world full of adventure.
