Bandai Namco Filmworks opened the official website for the anime adaptation of Marriagetoxinmanga written by Joumyaku and illustrated by Mizuki Yoda. The announcement confirmed that the series will premiere in 2026 and included a first visual teaser and a promotional video.
Main cast and production staff
The main cast will have Haruki Ishiya (Hibike! Euphonium) as Hikaru Gero and Shion Wakayama (Dandadan) as Mei Kinosaki. Regarding the creative team, the following names stand out:

About the manga
Marriagetoxin began to be published on the platform Shounen Jump+ in April 2022. The work, which mixes action with romantic comedy and dark overtones, follows an assassin trained since childhood who, upon being forced to marry to ensure the continuity of his clan, decides to look for an authentic relationship instead of following the dictates of his family.
To date, the publisher Shueisha has released 14 compilation volumesthe most recent in August 2025, while the volume 15 is scheduled to be published on October 3.
The announcement of its adaptation has generated great expectations, especially due to the participation of bonesa study known by titles such as Boku no Hero Academia and Mob Psycho 100.
