The first installment of the anime, produced by CygamesPicturesit premiered on July 6 and had worldwide distribution through Netflixwith subtitles in multiple languages. The adaptation brought the work of Mokumokurena supernatural mystery manga with a growing reader base.
About manga and light novels
The manga began as publications in x (formerly Twitter) before moving to serialization in Young Ace UP in August 2021. To date, Kadokawa has published seven volumes, the most recent released on July 4, 2025.
Besides, Mio Nukaga works in a light novel adaptation under the Kadokawa Shoten label since December 2023. The second volume was also released on July 4.
