the anime of My Awkward Senpai (Bukiyo na Senpai.), based on the manga Makoto Kudohas presented his second main visual and a new promotional video. The trailer previews the closing theme titled “Bukiyo ni Kimi no Tonari” (“Awkwardly Next to You”), performed by the singer Ami Maeshima.
The production confirmed that the anime will premiere on October 2. With this trailer, the series aims to consolidate itself among the romantic comedies of the fall season, showing a simple style but full of tenderness.
From webcomic to anime
Makoto Kudo started publishing My Awkward Senpai on his X/Twitter account in March 2019. Subsequently, the work was serialized in the magazine Young Gangan of square enix in December of that same year. To date, the manga has 10 compilation volumesthe most recent published on September 25.
