The franchise Girls Band Cry took another step in its expansion with the official announcement of a film in production. The project was confirmed this Monday along with a visual starring Nina Iserialthough for now the release date has not been revealed.

The original series featured 13 episodes broadcast in Japan between April and June 2024, produced by Toei Animation. Its combination of music, youth drama and animation caught the attention of both fans of the genre and new viewers, consolidating the work as one of the surprises of last year.
Creative team behind the franchise
The anime was directed by Kazuo Sakaiwith Jukki Hanada in charge of the composition of the series. Nari Teshima took care of character design, while Kenji Tamai He was in charge of the soundtrack. The film's announcement hints that the original creative team could be involved again.
