The official site of Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Timeadaptation of the light novel by Kogitsunemaruannounced that the series will have second season. The news came accompanied by a commemorative illustration made by Tarō Sasakamaalso in charge of the manga version.
The return of the alchemist
The first season of the series premiered on January 1 and was available for streaming through Crunchyroll. Now, after the good reception from fans, it is confirmed that the project will continue with new adventures for its protagonist.
From light novel to expanding franchise
The original work, titled in Japanese Izure Saikyō no Renkinjutsu-shi?tells the story of an alchemist who seeks to become the best of all time. Thanks to its mix of fantasy, humor and a protagonist who breaks the rules of his world, the franchise has gained popularity inside and outside of Japan.
Expectations for season 2
Although no dates or details about the staff or plot of the sequel have yet been revealed, the confirmation alone has been enough to ignite the hype. Fans are looking forward to seeing how the protagonist's path evolves and how far he can go with his alchemical abilities.
