The magical world of Witch Hat Atelier will have to wait a little longer to jump from the pages of the manga to the television screens. Through a statement on social networks, the production team announced that the long-awaited adaptation will no longer debut in 2025, but will be delayed until 2026. The decision, as explained, seeks to guarantee that the series maintains a quality standard worthy of the universe created by Kamome Shirahama.
The official announcement

- Ayumu Watanabe (Children of the Sea, Space Brothers) in direction.
- Kairi Unabara in character design.
- Yuka Kitamura (Bloodborne, Elden Ring) composing the music.
A delay that hurts, but promises
Although no one enjoys having their favorite anime postponed, the delay of Witch Hat Atelier It can be a positive sign. At the end of the day, it is preferable to wait to receive a careful work that is faithful to the manga, than to see a rushed and poorly executed product.
