The chain NHK announced that the fourth season of the anime Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun), based on the manga Osamu Nishiwill premiere in April 2026. The series will be broadcast again through NHK Educationalmaintaining the continuity of its previous deliveries.
International availability
Crunchyroll confirmed that it will broadcast the new season in simulcast for multiple regions, including North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Middle East, CIS and India. In addition, the platform will also offer English dubbing after its premiere, as in previous seasons.
Tour of its seasons
The first season of the anime debuted in October 2019 with a total of 23 episodesbeing broadcast by NHK Educational and distributed internationally by Crunchyroll. The second season arrived in April 2021while the third premiered in October 2022both also with simultaneous streaming broadcast and English dubbing.
History of Iruma
The plot follows Iruma Suzukia kind-hearted 14-year-old boy whose life changes drastically when his parents sell him to demons. To his surprise, the demon that acquires him decides to adopt him as his grandson and sends him to a peculiar demon school. There, Iruma will have to face countless strange situations while trying to keep his human identity a secret.
About the manga
The original manga, written and illustrated by Osamu Nishibegan its serialization in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion of Akita Shoten in March 2017. Since then, the work has amassed a large fan base in Japan and abroad, establishing itself as one of the most beloved supernatural comedies in the shōnen genre.
