The publisher Poplar Publishing Co., Ltd. confirmed that the illustrated book series Nezumi-kun no Chokkicreated by Nakashiwo and Noriko Uenowill have a anime adaptation for television. This children's work is widely recognized in Japan for its endearing style and its simple but meaningful messages.
