The team of Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Versethe first original television anime david productionannounced the incorporation of Tomoaki Maeno like the voice of Kunihito. This character, a passionate man who served as a public order officer in Heian-kyō 1,000 years ago, will appear in the episode 10which will air on Wednesday.
Plot and setting
The anime takes place in an alternate version of Heian-kyōcall Denji Heian-kyō (The Tranquil Capital of the Divine Ray). Takeru Narehira, a troubled student, is transported to this city after an accident and discovers that he has the ability to go back in time. With this ability, he proposes to master the mystical techniques of the onmyōji to save Tsukimiyaa woman he has seen repeatedly in his dreams.

The anime manga, made by Fujiko Sakuno and Kyūjō Matsumotostarted in the magazine Morning Two from Kodansha on February 6. Its first compiled volume was published on June 23 and the second will arrive on October 23.
Production and music
The anime is directed by Hideya Takahashiwith a script Hayashi Mori and character design by Kazuaki Morita. The music is from Masahiro Tokudawhile world-building and research are the work of Katsuie Shibata. Conceptual art is done by Kitsuneiro.
The series has aired on Fuji TV's +Ultra block since July 2 and is simulcast on Crunchyrollwith English dubbing coming soon. The opening song “Cry Out Cry Over” is performed by Who-ya Extended and the ending “Turn Over” by 9Lana.
