A few days after its premiere in Japan, the next October 2anime A Star Brighter Than the Sun presented a new trailer. The trailer highlights the relationship between Sae and Kokiaccompanied by the musical theme “Saishin-banashi” performed by Wanukaalso known for his work in A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics.

Creative team behind the anime
The direction is in charge of Sayaka Kobayashi (My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999) in Studio KAI. The composition of the series is the responsibility of Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War), while the character design is in the hands of Jin Feng Zeng. The music is composed by Natsumi Tabuchi and Miki Sakurai (The Quintessential Quintuplets). The original manga was created by Kazune Kawahara.
A story of tangled feelings
The manga, officially published in English by VIZ Mediatells the life of Sae and Kokichildhood friends whose relationship changes with the arrival of adolescence. Sae discovers that Koki has matured and begins to feel more than just friendship for him. However, she is not the only one who is interested in Koki, which triggers a love triangle full of doubts and emotions. The big unknown is: Who will Koki choose?
