The franchise Neon Genesis Evangelion will commemorate his 30th anniversary with an event titled Monthly Eva EVANGELION 30th MOVIE Fest. 2025-2026which will bring all six films in the saga back to the big screen. Screenings will be held in theaters throughout Japan between October 2025 and February 2026with screenings limited to one week for each film.
Screening calendar
The festival will present a different film every month (two in October) in special remastered versions:
- October 10-16, 2025: Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth – “DEATH (TRUE)² & REBIRTH” version.
- October 24 to 30, 2025: The End of Evangelion.
- November 14 to 20, 2025: Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone – version 1.11.
- December 12 to 18, 2025: Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance – version 2.22.
- January 9 to 15, 2026: Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo – version 3.33, plus the shorts EVANGELION: 3.0 (-120min.) and EVANGELION: 3.0 (-46h).
- February 13 to 19, 2026: Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time – version 3.0+1.01.

Promotional material and extras
To accompany this return to cinemas, attendees will receive smartphone size stickers with the visuals of the posters of each film as an exclusive gift. Additionally, there is now available a special trailer on the official Studio Khara YouTube channel that anticipates the magnitude of this celebration.
