The action and comedy manga Kill Blue surprised fans by announcing that it will have an anime adaptation scheduled to premiere in 2026. The announcement came accompanied by a first teasera promotional illustration and confirmation of the core team behind the project.
Production team revealed
The series will be directed by Hiro Kaburagiknown for his work in Kimi ni Todokeunder the production of the animation studio CUE. Character designs will be in charge of Miho Daidojiwho will give life to the peculiar aesthetics of the work.
First visual preview

Synopsis of Kill Blue
The story follows Jūzō Ōgamia legendary 39-year-old assassin who has never failed a mission. However, after eliminating a powerful organization, he is attacked by a mysterious wasp that leaves him unconscious. When he wakes up, he discovers that his body has rejuvenated to that of a 13-year-old teenager. Forced by his boss, he must infiltrate a high school, facing a student life full of chaos, eccentric classmates and constant threats. Will he be able to regain his original form or will he be eliminated before doing so?
