The anime adaptation of the manga Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love!work of mamakarirevealed this August 28 a new trailer, a promotional illustration, part of the additional cast and details of the musical themes that will accompany the series.

The Japanese premiere is scheduled for October 6, 2025while Crunchyroll confirmed its broadcast in simulcast for Spain and Latin America as part of the season of fall anime 2025.

New cast confirmed
Along with the announcement, the actors who will give life to new characters were revealed:
- Saki Tamai will be performed by Akari Kitō.
- Hiroki Maezono will feature the voice of Tomokazu Sugita.
- Yutaka Shigemori will have the voice of Takuya Eguchi.
- Masahiko Hosoi will be interpreted by Eiji Takeuchi.
Musical themes
The group GANG PARADE will perform the opening theme titled “Happy Yummy Lucky Yummy”. For its part, Yuma Uchidawho voices the protagonist Keisuke Yukiwill perform the ending under the name “Watashi from Yokkata!!!” (“I'm glad it's me!”).

The anime is directed by Kazuomi Koga in the studio Marvy Jack.
