Hyakusho Kizoku reveals trailer for its 3rd season premiering in October


The anime's official website Hyakusho Kizokubased on the autobiographical manga by Hiromu Arakawa (author of Fullmetal Alchemist), published the main trailer his third season. The video confirmed that the series will return on October 3, 2025 in Japan (early morning on October 4 in Spain).

New musical theme by pachae

The trailer also revealed that the opening song will be titled “Kage neither Nari Hinata nor Nari” (“In the shadow, under the sun”), performed by the rock band pachae. The group shared their excitement about participating in the project, noting that “everyone has a moment to shine” and hoping that the audience finds personal inspiration through the topic.

A manga inspired by the life of its author

Hyakusho Kizoku is a comedy that portrays, with humor and realism, the rural life of its author. Arakawa was born in Tokachi, Hokkaidowithin a cattle family, where he worked for seven years before becoming a mangaka. Their experiences gave rise to this unique work that mixes satire, customs and anecdotes of life in the countryside.

Facts about the manga and anime

The manga began serialization in December 2006 in the magazine A bit from the publisher Shinshokanand was later published in WINGS. Until December 2023, the work accumulated 4.1 million copies in circulation and a total of eight compilation volumes.
