The distributor Shochiku presented a new teaser of the original film L'étoile de Paris en fleur (also known as Étoile Blossoming in Paris), directed by Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass, One Piece Film Red) and produced by Arvo Animation. The trailer revealed the addition of two new members to the cast.

New characters confirmed
- Lina Arashi (My Small Land) will play Chizurudescendant of a samurai lineage expert in the naginata, who ends up entering the world of ballet.
- Taichi Saotome will give life to Ruslana young Russian who lives in the same Parisian building as the protagonist Fujiko.
A story of dreams in difficult times

The plot follows Fujikowho aspires to become a painter, already Chizuruattracted by ballet. Both met by chance in Yokohama at the beginning of the 20th century. Fate brings them together again in Paris, where they fight together to achieve their dreams in the midst of a complicated time. The motto of the project is clear: “I want to flourish, in this city”.
Top-notch creative team
The feature film has an outstanding creative team. Katsuya Kondoknown for his work in Kiki's courier service and Ponyodesigns the original characters in his first collaboration with Taniguchi. Ami Tōma (Lonely Castle in the Mirror) plays Fujiko.
The script was written by Reiko Yoshida (Violet Evergarden, Kaleido Star), while Yu Yamashita He adapted Kondō's designs to animation. The soundtrack is provided by Takayuki Hattori (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin).
